How to Dry a Gourd
1. Cut mature gourds off the vines when
the leaves and stem begin turning
brown.
2. Soak gourds for 20 minutes in a
solution of 1 part bleach and 9
parts water.
3.Rinse with clear, cold water.
4.Place Gourds outdoors to sit and dry.
5. Drying may take 6 weeks or more.
6. Rotate gourds once a week.
